Since 2009, I have been an adjunct professor of Sustainability teaching a core course called Business, Society, and Environment.
Originally designed to be part lecture and part project, the goals of the course have always been to:
- Provide an experience that integrates academic setting and hands on experience that will
- Provides a flexible platform that engages student interests, matches experiences, and provides an opportunity to network with and engage with Shanghai’s corporate community
- To engender an understanding of why CEIBS’ MBA students should demonstrate responsible leadership through involvement in social and/or environmental projects and activities during their course of study.
A platform now in its fifth year, we have engaged nearly 1,000 students and more than 120 off campus partners on more than 50 distinct topics of “sustainability”.
